“The holistic approach to medicine, combining spiritual and emotional care
with the physical, is the best approach when directing an individual’s care and
therapy because these aspects are all interconnected. The PAIN Foundation of
Western Pennsylvania embodies this holistic approach in fulfilling its mission
of improving the quality of life for those debilitated by chronic pain. The work
of the foundation is of great interest to me in both my past and present
callings. I am pleased to have the opportunity to serve as a board member.”
