Dr. Rys received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from The Union Institute of Cincinnati and his master’s degree in the same discipline from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. "I am honored to be a part of the PAIN Foundation of Western Pennsylvania. The advocacy mission of this organization on behalf of those who suffer from pain in our region is very important. I am particularly proud of the attention to the emotional aspects of caring for those in pain. The integration of psychological care with this and any medical disorder is so important to our healing. Our community involvement and support of this organization is an important first step on the rung of promoting and advocating a less painful and more healing community." |
